Behind a monochromatic exterior and dull grey eyes lies a tapestry of emotion, pain, and hardship. Memories of the brethren he lost when the Garleans came. Countless nights staring up at the stars, wondering what he could have done differently, and if he made the right decision with that stone.Despite his years, the world outside the jungle is a new experience every day. He is innocent to the ways of the world... a world that is vast, cruel, and unforgiving. He knows now that he needs to become stronger... to adapt... or perish. The Hanuhanu of Tural have come to recognize Solstice as an esteemed hunter, and have helped him find a home within the jungles of Kozama'uka. It still doesn't feel like enough.Everything inside tells him that he has yet to truly prove himself... to become what he is truly meant to be.
Svent knew that his destiny was written in the stars. His job was to provide and protect, and the stars saw fit to ensure that he remained alive long enough to continue doing it.That day he left the village was the longest day of his life, and so he adopted the name Solstice. The shortest day is somewhere in his future and he's going to make sure it's the best one.
The Best Stew You'll Ever Eat
Solstice is rather proud of his cooking. Because of his experience hunting and foraging for his tribe, his food is unparalleled amongst his siblings. Lately, though, he feels that it is the only worth he brought to the clan.Sequestered
The only Sigrun that seems to know Solstice's exact whereabouts is his younger sister Clover. The opposite is true for him; he hasn't the slightest idea where she is, or where his other clanmates are; not since he separated from them on the Syllogia. He yearns to reconnect with them and be a part of a family, but only after he's proven he's worthy of doing so by becoming a vakt. For now, he has his mate Rhinna, and the two are inseparable.Seasoned Hunter
Solstice will put his life on the line to defend his brethren and his clan from all threats. He has spent years honing his senses and survival instincts. He will not kill without reason, though... all parts of his prey will find some use, for such is the cycle of life and death.Depressed
It's amazing that his neck isn't broken from all the slumping he does. The voices in his head that tell him he's weak, unworthy, and unloved always win out despite his siblings--and especially his mate--doing their best to convince him otherwise.Stargazer
He believes that the brothers who died in arms look down on him from the stars above. His mate performed a ritual to unlock his innate aether, but Solstice still can't do anything with it yet. He distinctly remembers the moment it happened, and how the motion of the heavens was the first revelation.
As far as roleplaying goes, I've been playing D&D for years both as a DM and a player. I'm not that good of a writer and certainly not very creative, but I'd like to think I'm fairly decent. At the very least I know how to spell and form complete sentences.I have a few RP friends and acquaintances. If you would like to join that circle then I would more than welcome it. I definitely need the practice.I feel I need to add the usual warning that I am not my character; do not expect my feelings to reflect my character's and vice versa.
